My MBA program at Syracuse University has an international residency component. The Summer 2017 residency was in London and I had to travel to the UK during peak tourist season — not really my idea of a good time!
As you can imagine, award flight inventory to London wasn’t easy to find. To remedy this, I transferred 30,000 Chase UR points to United and paid $5.60 in fees for my one-way ticket. It may not have been the best redemption, but it was good enough to get me out with my checked bag and school materials.
To get from DUB to LHR, I paid $30 on AerLingus for a one-way ticket and was on my way.
This photo was taken in an alley in Dublin while I was walking around exploring the city. When I saw the kegs arranged, I had to take a photo – it was too perfect!
